I found this bit of information from our state to be quite interesting. There have been a number of people in our area who have dealt with blacklisting for employment opportunities. Some have actually been told by those wishing to hire them, but cannot due to those above them. In our state this is a State Code and appears that there are those who feel that they have the power to violate such codes by preventing those people who have had good work evaluations who have been denied the right to interview or if they have been interviewed, the decision to not hire has been to not keep the position open This is a serious violation in our state when this takes place, and for those programs who receive federal and state funding can create some problems for those employers who are violating these codes and laws. I have attached the state code for our state for a point of reference. Hopefully, these people can get interviewed and hired even if it is for a part time job.
