To the city of Burley - I would like to know why the City gives up on its flowers so early in the fall. They are so beautiful all summer long and then it seems that right after Labor Day they quit watering them and in just a few short weeks they are looking shabby. Then last week the city began throwing them away. I see that my neighbors’ flowers are still bright and beautiful so why doesn’t the city follow suit and keep taking care of them? The city uses lots of taxpayer money for the flowers so why aren’t we still enjoying them? Don’t say that they all froze because that isn’t the case. Just drive around town and you’ll see hundreds of houses with flowers in full bloom. Last year we were seeing flowers blossom clear into November. Whoever is responsible for this decision needs to be reprimanded.

Flowers make me happy!
