To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter as a citizen and taxpayer of Minidoka Idaho.  It has recently come to my attention from another concerned person in our community that some of the board members for the Minidoka Animal Shelter are not a suitable voice for these dear animals.  Unfortunately, I do not know their names but as this opinion was solely theirs I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard for you to find out who they are.  Seems the solution they have come up with to lighten the load of the shelter is to euthanize the puppies that come in, period, not to even find them a temporary home let alone a permanent home.  Just murder them.  The Minidoka Animal shelter has been respected in this area and even other States because it has been a no kill shelter; something we should all be immensely proud of.  The shelter is kept clean and the animals are exercised, fed, loved, and protected.  The whole purpose of these shelters is to transition these poor unfortunate creatures who have been abandoned for multiple reasons, into good and permanent homes not to execute them to make some bottom line balance.

These voiceless creatures need some top line decision makers to have love in their hearts for them.  Please do not let these members carry enough power to end the lives of any of these dogs.  They deserve a chance for happiness as does any living being.  How can a person who can so easily snuff out a life be allowed to be seated on the board?  This is not the job for them.
