We are coming to one of the busiest days of the year.  It has been know as Christmas because it is the Birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Let’s compare His Birthday with ours.  On our Birthday we receive gifts and the day is recognized as our Birthday.  On His we expect to receive gifts and we call the day anything except His Birthday.  There are even movements to have all reference to Him removed from public.

Paul told Timothy, “For the time shall come when they will not endure sound doctrine but of their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears and they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned into fables.  But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work”.

What principles taught by Him would be bad for our country?  What are some of His teachings that would improve the world today?  He taught love, decency, respect, and integrity.  He healed the sick, helped the poor and had love for all people.

Fellow Christians and others who love these principles, let’s not lose these great reminders of good in the world taught by Him and keep those things that are reminders of these principles that have been given to us by our forefathers who we love and respect.
