Stanley Clark

The love of my life and my best friend left me to join Jesus and the heavenly band and choir early the morning of July 1, 2020, listening to his favorite gospel music.

Stan was born January 2, 1952, in Burley, Idaho to Oliver "Bud" and Vollie Hawkins Clark, joining three brothers and two sisters. He attended grade school at MillerSchool in Burley then moved to Rupert and attended MinicoHigh School. At about the age of 12 he started his service station career working through the years for his dad and his brothers. His love of cars and motorcycles started at an early age thanks to his older brothers. In 1977 he followed a dream and entered law enforcement serving as a MinidokaCounty deputy sheriff and then a RupertCity policeman. In 1989 he went into car sales at Honstead Motors and Edmark Chevrolet in Nampa. Because of chronic health issues he was unable to follow another dream, having an eating establishment and sharing his love of cooking.

Stan and I were high school sweethearts and were married on July 7, 1972, in Burley. God blessed us with two wonderful sons, Jeremy and Justin, and our beautiful daughter Crystal. In 1989 we moved from Rupert to Nampa.

Stan loved boating and water skiing on the Snake River, cars, his Harley and cooking, but his greatest love was family and friends.

Stan's dad and then his mom left us several years ago and then my mom, our brother-in-law, and our sister-in-law in the past eight months. He is survived by me, Jerri (Hollinger) Clark, his wife of 48 years; sons Jeremy and wife Anna, Justin and wife Sheri; daughter Crystal Vopal; grandsons: Christian, Ethan, Spencer, Clayton and Maddox; granddaughters: Ivy, Faith, Leslie, Ashley and Aunika; brothers: Dale, Harry, and Gary and wife Audrey; and sisters Janice Pruitt and Marilyn and husband Joe Hoosier; many wonderful nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life and memorial open house will be held on August 8, 2020, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Springs Calvary Chapel, 1430 17th Street, Heyburn, Idaho. This will be a joint memorial for his brother-in-law Jerry Pruitt, and his sister-in-law Velda Clark.

I wish to thank all the family, friends and neighbors for your prayers, condolences and generosity. God truly blessed us all with having Stan in our lives.

Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel. Nampa. 208-467-7300. Condolences may be expressed at
