Ethel Culp Bonaldi Rausch passed away on September 5, 2021 in San Jose, California, in her sleep with her daughter by her side. She is survived by her children: Dino Bonaldi, Richard Bonaldi, Jim Bonaldi (deceased), Fred Bonaldi and Marcella Bonaldi; she also has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Ethel retired from the Pacific Telephone Company after 35 years. Ethel met Larry Rausch and married him on June 10, 1989 in Middletown, California. They were happily married for 29 years. They with their 5th wheel and enjoyed being together. Ethel always enjoyed living in Rupert in Larry's cute log home in Rupert, Idaho. They moved to Las Vegas until Larry passed away on July 1, 2019. Ethel moved in with her daughter Marcella for almost 4 years.
Larry Rausch owned and operated the old Arctic Circle in Rupert, Idaho. Larry worked hard at his restaurant with his mother, and one of his nephews, Paul Hensheid. Larry loved to go hunting with friends. Larry enjoyed his time at Jackpot. When Larry and Ethel got married they really enjoyed going camping. They would go up to Rexburg, Idaho and stay in the apartments for a summer and enjoy the outdoors. Larry and Ethel moved to Las Vegas, where they really enjoyed each other. Their hobbies were putting puzzles together, and on the kitchen table you would always see a deck of cards, which the two of them loved to pay a game or two.
The Celebration of Life will be at the Hansen Mortuary in Rupert, Idaho June 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
A short graveside ceremony will be at the Rupert Cemetery followed by a reception at the St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 806 F Street, Rupert, Idaho.
