Diners in and around Mini-Cassia area have a new dining option at the Almo Inn and Outpost Steakhouse, which has been purchased by the Debra and Dean Condie family. Debra is a native of Almo and has had a love for the Inn and Outpost since their inception in 2000. Improvements to the rooms and cabins have been made with Holly and Dan Taylor taking over the day-to-day operations.. They're serving up that famous Almo Outpost steak you've come to love along with other favorites like Dutch oven potatoes and pioneer pudding. The new Almo Inn and Outpost Steakhouse team will ensure that you enjoy your stay at the Western-themed resort which sits at the entrance to City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks State Park.

The Inn is open 365 days a year. The Outpost is open Wednesday through Saturday, with breakfast being served Thursday - Saturday. The Almo Outpost has a private banquet room for larger family parties or business holiday parties.
