TWIN FALLS, ID – The College of Southern Idaho is excited to welcome our students and our broader community back to campus beginning Monday, June 22, 2020. Based on information shared by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, and South-Central Public Health District (SCPHD), the College will reopen campus with the safety and well-being of students and employees in mind.

Main Campus offices in Twin Falls will reopen to walk-in traffic on Monday, June 22, at 8 a.m. Some offices may be temporarily relocated to achieve social distancing. Please be attentive to signage on building entrances regarding any temporary office locations. For information regarding the reopening of CSI Off-Campus Centers in Hailey, Jerome, Gooding, and Burley, please visit The CSI Student Recreation Center will also reopen on Monday, June 22. Please visit for hours of operation.

The College will begin its fall semester on August 24. Registration for the fall semester is currently open and courses will be offered in a variety of formats to accommodate our students’ needs, including face-to-face, on-line, and hybrid offerings. In-person instruction is planned through the entire fall semester while ensuring that public safety standards are observed. Students and employees will be expected to wear facial coverings on campus where social distancing is not feasible and are encouraged to follow state guidelines while off-campus.

The College will welcome residential students back to campus this fall along with to-go food options from college dining services. The College’s Athletic Department will be coordinating with the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) to implement athletics for 2020-2021. The NJCAA is expected to provide additional guidance in late June.

Our safety is a shared responsibility and we all must strive to keep each other and ourselves healthy. By following guidelines from the CDC, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, and SCPHD we have the best chance of reducing infections and avoiding transmission both on campus and within our local communities. These prevention strategies have been put in place in order to safely re-open CSI and bring our campus community back together. Due to the evolving nature of the pandemic, plans may change due to factors outside of the College’s control. All CSI updates regarding reopening will be posted on the CSI Coronavirus webpage at and specific questions can be sent to

We can’t wait to see you back on campus soon!
